Peggy-Sue

VOLUNTEER RADIO PRESENTER

Peggy-Sue started out as a guest on The Outer Limits Radio Show, discussing the Winter Solstice back in December 2018.

The Original Team (Paul Devlin, Simon Mundy and Naz Ahsun), liked Peggy-Sue's and Chloe's chemistry on air, that in January 2019, both Peggy-Sue and Chloe were asked if they would like to become Presenters on the show.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL...

Peggy-Sue also hosts another show on Swindon 105.5, called Don't Stop The Music Radio Show.

Peggy-Sue has always been into music, and with a name like Peggy-Sue... you had to!!!

Being brought up on 50's, 60's and 70's music, being a 80's child and growing up through the 90's and 00's, Peggy-Sue's taste in music has been expanded.

Peggy-Sue used to enter dance competitions whilst in Secondary School, selecting Dance Music and choreographing her own routines., coming 3rd place, until her final year, where she came 2nd.

In 1995, Peggy-Sue took a chance at singing herself. After a call from one of her Music Teachers, Peggy-Sue sang Kirsty MacColl's version of "Days" to an audience over over 60's, with the Music Teacher playing piano.

Since then Peggy-Sue has had professional singing lessons from Kitty Langan Studios, and performed in shows for the Studio, including "Into the Open Air" from Disney's Brave, "Rotterdam" from Beautiful South, "Dreams" from Fleetwood Mac and an acoustic version of Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away".

In December 2020, an opportunity arose, where a show slot was becoming vacant. Peggy-Sue had an idea for a Music Show, and on the 5th January 2021, Don't Stop The Music Radio Show was first aired.
